Compu-Cool was established in 1999, it is a member of SARACCA (South African Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association). It started as a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) company focusing on industrial and commercial sectors before. Later Refrigeration services were introduced in response to customer’s needs. Lately as the work from home concept takes root, Compu-Cool has teams responsible for domestic services.
The company has distinguished itself as a leading Contract Maintenance provider of HVAC services with particular expertice in chiller plant service. Our Services are offered to office development, shopping malls, power stations, factories, warehouses, industrial and health facilities. Currently Compu-cool services 72 sites across South Africa with the majority being in Gauteng. Other sites are located in Polokwane, Bloemfontein, Capetown, Durban and Mpumalanga. Our field team reports on a digital platform with easy communication with head office and short turnaround times for repairs and quotations.
Our streamlined service includes turnkey project solutions, product sales, installations and repair of air conditioning equipment. When it comes to Air Conditioning for the office, factory, shop, shopping malls, hospital, server rooms, and power stations for people and heat sensitive assets/equipment, Compu-cool is the “go to” firm for quality service and peace of mind. The same quality is now enjoyed by our domestic that need thermal comfort.
Since inception, Compu-Cool has already secured over the years maintenance contracts with clients such as Abreal Properties, Redefine Properties, SA Brewaries, Eskom/Rotek Engineering, Kimberly Clark, African Mining, Spaanjaard SA, Trident Steel, I.R.B.A, Computer Site Installations for CSI, South African Breweries, Clicks, Land & Agricultural Bank, Trident Steel (Aveng), Rosherville Conference Center, CW Excellerate JHI Retail and most Massstores t/a Makro stores throughout the country. Compu-cool continues to grow and we are proud that most of our customers are repeat customers. In fact, many of them have trusted us with their HVAC investments needs for over a decade.
Our work is carried out to the highest standards by competent, qualified personnel, safeguarding the useful life of equipment and investment. We have SAIRAC accredited senior staff that oversee our quality assurance (maintenance and repair). At site the team follows our tried and tested Compu-cool procedures and quality Checklists to methodically execute the work.
We follow a structured staff development and in-house training strategy such that our site teams are knowledgeable about safety and health (SHE), the site plant, the installation and equipment they handle. Our field reporting is on a digital platform with backup support via video and cell phone connectivity with head office. All work is verified by a senior technician before the job is signed off. We also ensure that our staff attend the training courses run by the major equipment suppliers.
Compu-Cool staff has grown steadily over the years from a staff complement of six in 1999. We have a core team of 15 technicians in Gauteng and resident support teams in Polokwane, Cape Town, Durban, Mpumalanga and Bloemfontein.
